1. Eric ignores Amit's warnings
After their new-found alliance turns sour, Amit warns Eric to stay out of his way from now on. Eric is uneasy over Amit's behaviour, but decides that it's worth continuing to investigate.
Vinny becomes Eric's accomplice as he secretly swipes Amit's keys and encourages Eric to go snooping around Holdgate for clues.

2. Amit realises he's being tricked
Eric sneakily makes his way into Holdgate while the place is empty, but he's unsettled when he walks past the spot where Rishi mysteriously died.
Over at The Hide, Vinny plays his role in the plan by trying to stall Amit for as long as possible. Amit becomes suspicious, especially when he realises that his keys are missing, so he walks out.
Vinny tries to warn Eric that Amit is on his way, but Eric is too distracted by his ongoing search through Amit's files. Will he be caught in the act?
3. Eric makes an emotional plea
When faced with Jai and Amit, a worried Eric lays all of his cards on the table and voices his disturbing suspicions about Amit. Eric urges Jai to believe him, but Jai is not on the same page and seems to pity him.
With their plans in ruins, Eric and Vinny fear they've made a big mistake by provoking a murderer.
4. Paddy receives advice
Paddy starts to lose hope for his future with Mandy, who's struggling to forgive him after learning about his kiss with Chas. Liam suggests that Paddy shouldn't give up on Mandy without a fight.
Marlon and Tom also chip in with advice of their own, predicting that a grand gesture could help to win Mandy over again.
5. Paddy proposes
Amelia appoints herself as Mandy's fairy godmother at the salon and gives her a Cinderella-themed makeover.
When Paddy finds out what's going on, he also gets dressed up to the nines to surprise Mandy. It seems that a happy ending could be on the cards as the couple reconcile and Paddy drops down on one knee to propose.
6. Nate and Ruby's row annoys Caleb
Nate and Ruby clash outside the shop. As Nate storms off following the exchange of harsh words, Nicky is struck by how his mum seems unbothered by the tensions.
When Caleb finds out what happened, he worries that Ruby may have alienated his family even further. As Caleb demands to know the details, Nicky sticks up for Ruby.
7. Nicky gives Ruby some advice
Ruby opens up to Caleb about how she feels insecure over his attempts to reconnect with his family. However, Nicky suggests that Ruby might get back into Caleb's good books if she apologises to Nate.
Ruby takes this on board and says sorry to Nate. The pair strike up an unlikely bond as they admit how they've both been affected by Caleb and Tracy's betrayals.
Caleb is surprised to see Ruby and Nate getting along so well. However, Nate makes it clear that he's nowhere near close to making peace with Caleb in the same way.
8. Matty and Amy suffer a wedding setback
Matty and Amy choose the village hall as their wedding venue, but Claudette seems unhappy when she finds out that Matty is trans. Before long, Claudette shocks the couple by banning them from using the village hall as their venue because it's church property.
Matty struggles with Claudette's prejudiced stance. However, he later tells Amy that he wants to enjoy his wedding day on his own terms rather than being pushed as other people's "trans role model". The couple agree on a scaled-down wedding, but Amy struggles to hide her disappointment over the decision.
9. Tom finds new ways to control Belle
Tom monitors a tracking app on his phone so that he can oversee Belle's movements at all times.
He also surprises Belle by bringing home a rescue puppy, but he seems unhappy when Belle doesn't want to give up her job to look after their new pet.
10. Tracy makes a move on Nate
Tracy hits the bottle and seems unhappy as she reflects on her recent life choices.
She tries to kiss Nate, but he isn't interested and rejects her.
11. Aaron's lie is under threat
Liam confronts Aaron after finding out that he hasn't told Chas the truth about his gene test result.
This sparks a tense moment as Liam pushes Aaron to be more honest with his mum.
