1. Emmerdale: A storm is brewing on Kim and Will's wedding day

Emmerdale turns 50 this week, marking its milestone birthday with a week of unmissable episodes.

As the day of Kim and Will's wedding dawns, the bride-to-be takes her horse out for a ride in the countryside while dark storm clouds gather overhead.

Determined that Harriet won't ruin her happiness, Kim pays her a visit, but their confrontation turns ugly when the policewoman snaps and grabs her love rival by the throat.

The lady of the manor refuses to be beaten though, and after dusting herself off, a magisterial Kim wows the locals by arriving for her wedding on horseback.

At last, Will and Kim are declared husband and wife, but as the guests make their way to the after party at Home Farm, a wild storm starts to rage.

Meanwhile, heavily pregnant Amelia is on her way to her date with Noah when her contractions suddenly kick in. Forced to take shelter from the battering winds, she rings Dan for help, but her phone dies before she can tell her dad where she is.

Harriet jumps on her quad bike and zooms off to rescue the terrified teen, Lydia informs everyone at Home Farm, and Kim bravely offers to join the search. Struggling against the elements on her horse, she spots the tyre tracks of Harriet's bike and decides to follow the path into the woods.

2. Coronation Street: Sam contacts killer Harvey

(Wednesday at 8pm on ITV)

As the first anniversary of Natasha's death dawns, Sam and Nick prepare to honour the occasion, while Leanne sneaks off to visit Harvey in prison.

Coming face to face with her old adversary, Leanne is shocked when Harvey reveals that Sam has been writing letters to him and orders her to put a stop to it.

After Leanne returns home and breaks the news to Nick, the couple confront Sam, who gets upset and admits he just wants to know why Harvey murdered his mum.

Clearly desperate for answers, the youngster suggests he'll stop writing to Harvey if he can visit him instead, leaving Nick and Leanne horrified.

Later, as the Platts gather in the Bistro for Natasha's memorial lunch, Sam takes the opportunity to explain his reasons for wanting to see Harvey. Audrey gives Sam a pep talk and believes she has got through to him, much to Nick's relief.

However, Sam won't be swayed, and in the back yard of Number 9, he admits to Hope that he has sent another note to Harvey.

Meanwhile, in his prison cell, Harvey opens Sam's latest letter and is amused to see he has sent him a questionnaire to fill in about his violent past.

3. EastEnders: Sam makes a move on Jack

(Tuesday at 7.30pm on BBC One)

With Jack and Denise going out for the night, Amy decides to take advantage of the empty house in her plan to sleep with Denzel. Lily is concerned her friend is moving too quickly and confides in Stacey, who warns Jack what his daughter is intending.

Back at Number 27, Denzel explains to Amy that he wants to take things slowly, but as they start snogging, raging Jack storms in and pins the lad against the wall. Mortified by her dad's behaviour, Amy insists nothing happened, while Denise tries her best to placate the situation.

As the angry copper starts to calm down, he receives a call from his boss to say he has been reported for assault. Fuming at the turn of events, Jack finds a sympathetic ear in the form of ex-girlfriend Sam.

The pair bond over a few drinks, but as Sam leans in for a sneaky kiss, someone is watching and has filmed the entire thing.

Next morning, Jack is horrified when he receives a video of his clinch with Sam from a mystery sender, and his day goes from bad to worse when he learns he has been suspended from work.

In a bid to smooth things over, Jack goes round to apologise to Denzel, but all hell breaks loose when Denise receives the footage of Sam kissing her husband.

4. Hollyoaks: Eric strikes again

(Tuesday at 7pm on E4 and Wednesday at 6.30pm on Channel 4)

After being asked by Sally to take some time away from Hollyoaks High, Eric offers to help Tony out at The Dog. But as rumours about his involvement with Maxine spread, Tony is forced to take drastic action, leaving his brother hellbent on revenge.

Meanwhile, Sally has a change of heart about Eric and asks him to return to school. But a telling off from his boss leads Eric's mask to slip as he makes a shock confession and ends up trashing the school hallway in front of everyone.

Hatching his next plan, Eric secures himself a job at the Love Boat and as a group of local girls arrive at the bar, he records his perverse thoughts while watching them.

When the girls aren't looking, Eric spikes one of their drinks, and as Lizzie downs the drugged beverage she ends up in hospital. Mason is desperate to find out what happened to his sister and goes looking for answers – is evil Eric about to be rumbled?

5. Emmerdale: Tragedy strikes in the village

As the ferocious storm continues to batter the Dales, petrified Amelia remains trapped in a barn, fearing she'll be forced to give birth alone.

While a barn at Moira's farm collapses and panicked cows stampede through the fields, Al is left facing a difficult decision when both Kerry and Chas are injured by flying debris. Which one of his women will he help first?

Elsewhere, Charles and Nicola take cover in a derelict shelter, but as the foes continue to quarrel, she suddenly suffers a panic attack. There are also worries over Rhona's safety when she fails to return home, with Marlon and Mary left fearing the worst.

Meanwhile, Aaron and Liv finally make amends, but when Paddy reveals Chas is in hospital, the family decide to brave the dangerous weather to reach her. Soon, a much-loved character finds themselves trapped, and as Lydia receives terrible news, not everyone will make it out of the storm alive.

6. Coronation Street: Summer's pregnancy shock

(Monday at 8pm on ITV)

Trying to keep busy after her break up with Aaron, Summer throws herself into the charity clothes swap.

The event is a great success and Gemma is chuffed when she picks up a denim jacket. She shows her new purchase to Chesney, who gets a shock when he finds a positive pregnancy test in the pocket.

Much to his relief, Gemma confirms the test isn't hers, but the penny drops for Paul when he clocks the jacket and realises it belongs to Summer.

Paul confronts the expectant teen, who admits she and Aaron have resumed their relationship and intend to make a decision about the baby together. Later, Paul causes a scene when he outs Summer's pregnancy in the middle of The Rovers, causing her to flee the pub.

Esther catches up with Summer at Victoria Garden and after explaining how she and Mike are unable to have children, stuns her by offering to adopt the baby.

7. EastEnders: Nish collapses

(Wednesday at 7.30pm on BBC One)

Tensions are high at the Panesars', and with Suki away in Mumbai, Kheerat is struggling to remain civil with Nish. Unsettled by his father's reappearance, Kheerat turns to Stacey for support, revealing Nish killed someone who got too close to Suki.

Meanwhile, Nish's attempts to settle himself back into the family businesses don't go well, and after a tense confrontation with Kheerat, he ends up collapsing.

As Ravi and Ash rush to their father's aid, Nina is concerned her secret lover is becoming too attached to his father, and Kheerat is annoyed to realise Nish has managed to win Ash over.

Unable to bite his tongue any longer, Kheerat decides it's time to tell Vinny and Ash the real reason their dad went to prison. His revelation leaves Nish quietly seething, but determined to keep everyone on side, he seizes an opportunity to build bridges with his kids.

Elsewhere, Nina moves onto the next phase of her plan and tells Ravi she's reporting Ranveer as missing, because declaring him dead will be the only way for them to get their hands on his money.

8. Hollyoaks: Honour grows suspicious of Dave

(Wednesday 7pm on E4 and Thursday at 6.30pm on Channel 4)

A new romance is blossoming in Hollyoaks this week as a surprise decision from Sienna convinces Ethan she has caught feelings for him. But as the partners in crime consider mixing business with pleasure, trouble is looming.

After overhearing Sam and Dave discussing Ethan's involvement in Maya's murder, Honour starts growing suspicious of her husband.

Wanting to get to the truth, she enlists Sam's help to delve deeper into Dave's behaviour, leading a shock secret to come to light.

9. Home and Away: Marilyn is accused of abuse

(Friday at 1.45pm on Channel 5)

As Heather continues to mess with her head, Marilyn reaches breaking point and decides to share her secret with Leah. Opening up, Marilyn explains she suspects Heather could be her long-lost daughter, who was the product of an extramarital affair in her youth.

Recalling the painful events, Marilyn admits she was pressured by her lover and his wife to give her newborn daughter up for adoption in the hope of giving her a better life. Leah is devastated for her friend, but promises not to tell a soul what she has learnt.

Although relieved to have unburdened her guilt, as the week goes on Marilyn's paranoia builds as she fears everyone will find out about her past.

Soon events take a worrying turn when John receives a call from his adopted son Jett, claiming to have received a nasty text from Marilyn, saying that an adopted child can never compare with a biological one.

Outraged, John confronts Marilyn, who swears she didn't send the message and is devastated her friends would think her capable of such cruelty. Is Heather behind the whole thing?
