The Big Night Out is over, but Emmerdale is still delivering the drama in tonight's episode, airing new twists in both the Maya Stepney disappearance storyline and Ellis Chapman's stabbing.
Viewers won't get any official answers until next week's flashback scenes, but tonight's (April 29) episode delivered new twists and new mysteries as Leyla Harding, Priya Kotecha and Tracy Metcalfe continued to hide their secret.
Fans will know that the trio had an altercation with Maya in the woods after discovering her abusive relationship with Jacob Gallagher, and tonight Leyla, Priya and Tracy were all seen worrying about their cover story after Maya didn't turn up for work at the school.
In a bid to cover their tracks, Leyla lies to David that Maya is staying with her mum (who she hates), leaving Tracy and Priya horrified that she's complicating their cover-up story.
Later, it only gets worse for the women when they return to the woods to burn Maya's scarf, which they had found the morning after their showdown, but they aren't out of the woods just yet (har har), as Liv overheard their suspicious conversation.

Elsewhere in tonight's episode, the police start their questioning over Ellis' stabbing, but while his mum Jessie thinks local gangster Max is the one to blame, the police ultimately let him go after he provides an alibi.
Billy starts looking shifty as he hears the news – considering this means that someone else stabbed Ellis, and Billy was seen with a knife on the night in question, could Billy be responsible for his brother's injury? Or does he know more than he's letting on?
