Major EastEnders spoilers follow from today's episode (March 3), which some readers may prefer to avoid.
EastEnders aired a new twist in Suki and Eve's ongoing story last night (March 2), as it appeared that someone had discovered their secret.
Suki has been trying to keep her distance from Eve ever since her husband Nish arrived in Walford last year and has even agreed to go ahead with a vow renewal later this week.
As Nish pushed on with finalising the plans for the big day, Eve wasn't sure what to do when she received an invitation to the marriage blessing ceremony.
Things grew even more sinister when Nish approached Ravi with a 'special' request, after growing paranoid about her connection with Mitch Baker.
"I need you to do something important for me, something I would have asked Kheerat to do," Nish said to Ravi.

"I don't want any man near Suki, let alone Baker. Some men think they can get away with it under your nose. A neighbour, someone you are supposed to be able to trust. I've seen it before."
As Nish admitted that he wouldn't rule out killing anyone who grew close to his wife, a horrified Suki – having overheard his sinister threats – began to fear for Eve's safety.
Back at the Panesars, Suki tried to reassure Nish that he was the only man for her, and urged him not to let history repeat itself again.
"You need to let go of all this jealousy, before it destroys us again," she told him. "I'm yours and I always will be."
Suki's words seemed to appease Nish for the time-being, but she was thrown another curveball when a lovesick Eve arrived at her house in a last attempt to win her back.
"I told myself that if I came I might actually find a way of accepting it, that I could convince myself that you're happy in your choice," Eve said to a clearly conflicted Suki. "But I know you don't love him so why are you doing this?
"Is it about your community?" Eve went on to question. "Because I get it, or I would, if we were talking about when you first got married with all that pressure and pleasing your parents and stuff.
"Isn't it time now that you had the life you actually want? You're lying to yourself that it's what you want. You can't pretend that you and me never happened."
As Suki rebuffed Eve's attempts to kiss her, she argued back, "He is my husband and I am not going to cheat on him." to which Eve replied: "You already did".
They were unaware, however, that someone had entered the house during the tail-end of this conversation and heard those very lines.
As the front door slammed, Eve and Suki looked panicked as they feared their secret had been discovered.
Tonight's episode (March 3), which is now available to watch via BBC iPlayer, saw Vinny revealed as the mystery listener.
There was a twist, though. As Suki grew increasingly paranoid about who was eavesdropping on her conversation with Eve, Vinny eventually revealed it was him.
However, he accused his mum of being unfaithful with another man, having misheard their conversation.
Determined to keep Eve out of the equation, Suki managed to lie to Vinny and ultimately convinced him to keep quiet.
Suki and Nish then went ahead with the plan to bless their marriage, but Suki became overcome with emotion afterwards, finally accepting how strongly she feels for Eve after all.
After the ceremony, an emotional Suki slipped away and confessed her feelings to Eve – but what will this mean?
The fallout of this remains to be seen, but last year, Balvinder Sopal and Heather Peace – who play Suki and Eve respectively – shared their hope that their on-screen characters would find their way back to each other eventually.
"People love this pairing, and I think they're really enjoying the way the story is unfolding because it has this classic EastEnders vibe," Balvinder told Inside Soap.
"I really love that Suki and Eve are caring and we're taking our time. I'm rooting for anything that brings them happiness!
"We're talking about two marginalised groups here – the South Asian community and the LBGTQ+ community. I don't want to tell a story from just one perspective; it's important to me to find humanity and truth."
Heather echoed the same sentiment, adding: "We're telling two cultural stories here. I'm a lesbian in real life with a wife and kids. I know in Eve's situation that I would never be leading someone to the bedroom. It would have to be their choice, and that scene worked really well on screen."
Balvinder, who has played Suki since 2020, also discussed the impact the story has had, and the viewer response she has received so far.
"I was so nervous because I've never told a story like this before", she said. "A lot of women from Suki's generation never thought they could have anything other than marriage and children. But I've had a mix of messages from all different backgrounds telling me the story is resonating with them."
