EastEnders star Shane Richie has indicated that he would be interested in returning as Alfie Moon again in the future.
Speaking on This Morning, the actor told Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield that any comeback would have to happen after 2020, as he is already "busy next year".
"I don't know!" he said, when asked about a return. "I don't know, it's one of those decisions... He's still on the run, I believe. I still speak to Jessie [Wallace]. She gives me updates. But the show's in good shape at the moment.

"If I was to go back, [it would be] maybe 2021. I'm busy next year, so maybe the year after."
Shane added that he still tries to keep up-to-date with what's happening on Albert Square.
