Coronation Street star Vinta Morgan has shared his hopes for his character Ronnie Bailey's future.

Talking to Inside Soap about his future on the cobbles, Morgan, who has starred as Ronnie since 2021, said he'd like to explore Ronnie's softer side.

When asked if there is a future storyline he'd like to see Ronnie tackle in the future, Morgan said: "I'd love to see Ronnie more vulnerable because he's a strong, robust kind of guy. I know he's always wanted to have a family of his own, and it would be interesting to explore that.

On working with Holder, Morgan said he grew up watching him on Desmond's citing it as one of the first show's he identified with.

"He's an electrifying performer, with such a finger on the pulse of action. He's witty and has acute comic timing. So the chance to work with him is such a blessing. The producers and the casting team have done a fantastic job. I couldn't believe it when they told me."
