Soaps will be staying on a reduced schedule throughout May, but that doesn't mean the drama has to stop.
Despite airing fewer weekly episodes, Coronation Street, EastEnders, Emmerdale and Hollyoaks will be continuing to entertain us with juicy twists, devastating discoveries and the odd romance dilemma.
Here's our guide to some of the biggest storylines that will be airing over the next few weeks...
1. Yasmeen's nightmare continues (Coronation Street)
We already know that Yasmeen will be charged for her attack on Geoff, but there's a further twist in the tale when she's also refused bail.
Friday night's episode saw Yasmeen have a terrifying showdown with Geoff, which led to her attacking him in self-defence. With Yasmeen now facing a very uncertain future as a result, harrowing scenes will see her forced to spend time in prison.
Confirming Yasmeen's sad fate, Sair Khan – who plays her granddaughter Alya – said: "Alya is truly shocked at Yasmeen being denied bail, she'd held onto hope that the truth would come out and justice would be served. She now realises that this is just the beginning of a long fight."

Leanne's concerns will begin to resurface when one of Oliver's nursery workers expresses some concern that he's not developing physically at the same rate as the other children his age.
