Next week's Coronation Street episodes see Sinead Tinker's tragic storyline continue. Meanwhile, the show delves deeper into David Platt's prison dramas and Robert Preston's lies keep on coming.
Here's a full collection of 14 storylines you can look forward to.
1. Ali messes up badly
Ali's addiction sparks a potentially dangerous situation as he falls asleep at Maria's flat when he's supposed to be looking after Liam. As Ali carelessly leaves a pizza in the oven, the smoke alarm goes off and causes Maria, Gary, Ryan and Emma to rush upstairs to see what's going on.
So, is this Corrie's annual October disaster? Not quite, as the most they're faced with when they rush to the rescue is a charred pizza. Maria wonders what on earth is going on with her spaced-out boyfriend, but Ryan can see that Ali is struggling with drowsiness due to the pills.
2. Maria gets dumped
Maria unsurprisingly reacts badly to her son being in danger and angrily sends Ali away from her flat. She later apologises to Ali for overreacting, but he shocks her by suddenly declaring that their relationship isn't working.
Maria hopes they can still work things out when she drops in to see Ali later on, but he's behaving erratically after taking more pills. Ali devastates Maria by doubling down on his strong stance and insisting that he doesn't love her. Ouch.

3. Michelle is in the firing line
When a tipsy Maria drowns her sorrows in The Rovers, she finds a convenient scapegoat for her latest romantic disaster – Michelle.
Deciding to dish out some harsh home truths, Maria makes jibes about Michelle's parenting skills and claims that both of her sons are a disaster. (Harsh but true.) Gary is on hand to calm the situation, dragging Maria away from the row.
4. Gary flirts with Maria
With Maria a free agent again, Gary wastes no time before trying to make a move on her. While Maria, Gary, Faye and Jake spend some time together in Victoria Garden, a regretful Ali watches on jealously as Gary flirts with Maria.
Mikey North, who plays Gary, has previously teased a surprising new relationship for his villainous character and it seems like we finally know who the unlucky lady is.
5. Robert's revenge plan is thwarted
Robert is out for revenge after discovering that Ray is making Michelle's life a misery after she rejected his advances. After using a fake name to apply for the chef's job at Ray's hotel, Robert heads over there and is intent on teaching him a lesson.
Michelle figures out what Robert is up to when Liz lets slip that she drove him to the hotel in her cab. Desperate to stop him from interfering, Michelle rushes over there and stops him from doing something he might regret.
6. Robert is forced to tell more lies
With the Ray drama put on hold, Michelle suggests to Robert that they should head off for a last-minute holiday in Mallorca together. Robert is quick to agree, but the big question is how he'll explain his absence to his other fiancée Vicky.
Covering his tracks with ease as usual, Robert tricks Vicky into thinking that he has a "cookery course" in Mallorca and can't cancel without losing his money. But with Robert's lies growing more elaborate, is it only a matter of time before he pushes his luck too far?
7. Asha seeks help
With Dev finally aware that she has been using illegal skin lightening creams, Asha agrees to seek some help. Dev takes his troubled daughter to the medical centre, where Dr Gaddas takes a look at her sore arms.
Dr Gaddas learns that low self-esteem was the cause of Asha's crisis, so suggests that counselling may be the way forward. Dev also tries his best to support Asha, letting her know how much he loves and supports her.
8. Debbie leaves again
Corrie welcomed back a blast from the past last night as Sue Devaney reprised her role as Kevin's sister Debbie, but her return stint will only be brief. Monday's double bill (October 7) sees Debbie hand out cheques to Kevin and Sophie before Aunty Vi's funeral, after previously letting them know about their inheritance money.
Afterwards, Kevin, Sophie, Paula and Jack gather to bid a fond farewell to Debbie.
9. Sinead receives devastating news
When Sinead has her latest meeting with the oncologist, she receives more bad news as she's told that her cancer isn't responding to treatment. This means that she now has weeks, not months, left to live.
Although in shock, Sinead insists to Daniel that they should attend Ken's 80th birthday party at The Rovers as planned.
Sinead is touched when Daniel and Beth reveal that they've also turned the occasion into an early first birthday party for Bertie, bringing the celebration forward so that Sinead can be part of it. However, everyone is shocked when Sinead announces her prognosis.
10. Emily and Norris return
Ken's birthday party sees Norris Cole return to the cobbles for another visit, appearing for the first time since he left with Freda in June. Fan favourite Malcolm Hebden has reprised the role as a guest once again.
Norris also arranges for Emily Bishop to make an appearance via Skype to wish Ken a happy birthday. This is the first time we've seen Eileen Derbyshire in the role since 2016, when she went on an indefinite break.
11. Kevin has a date
Kevin is pleased when Abi tracks down his old friend Martine and they catch up in the Bistro. Martine is full of apologies for standing Kevin up recently, but she's keen to make up for lost time.
Sadly, Kevin is in for a major disappointment when he realises that Martine is only interested in his recent financial windfall.
Former Emmerdale and Doctors star Corrinne Wicks will be playing the role of Martine as a guest.
12. Sophie says goodbye
Sophie's new college course clearly isn't for her, so Paula suggests she should pull out so they can go travelling in Cambodia instead. Paula can sense that Sophie is keen for a new adventure, having spotted how interested she seemed in Kate's ongoing travels.
Sophie agrees to the idea and a flight is arranged for that night, but she's shocked to realise that Paula never intended to go with her – she just used it as a way to encourage the move. Kevin, Sally, Tim and Paula bid an emotional farewell to Sophie as she leaves for Cambodia.
13. David makes a friend in prison
David's time in prison will be getting more dramatic very soon, but in the meantime, he's making a potentially troublesome friend behind bars.
David spots a fellow inmate, Abe, slipping a mobile phone inside his sock and stops him from being caught out by creating a distraction around one of the prison guards.
Abe is impressed to see where David's loyalties lie and they strike up a bond. But could this new friendship land David in trouble?
14. Max receives a mystery text
Max remains a potential cause for concern when he lies to Shona about his whereabouts, making out that he has spent the afternoon at his friend Carl's house.
The troublesome schoolboy smiles when he receives a text from someone called 'M'. Could this be tied in with the upcoming return of Callum's mother Marion, by any chance?
