Next week's Coronation Street episodes see the show's modern slavery plot come to a head, while Gary Windass lines up a surprising new target and Emma Brooker receives devastating news.
Here's a full collection of 12 storylines you can look forward to.
1. Seb gets rushed to hospital
Seb is playing with fire as he bravely tries to save Alina from her slavery ordeal. Refusing to stand by and do nothing while Alina is exploited, Seb asks Faye to visit the nail salon and pass a note to his love interest.
Another girl ends up doing Faye's nails, so the teenager naively asks her to pass Alina the note. When Seb gets a text from Alina's phone which asks him to meet her after work, he walks straight into a trap and comes face-to-face with Rachel's dangerous husband Nikolai instead.
As the high-stakes situation turns violent, Seb is left unconscious. A guilty Jan – who has told Eileen that he's away working in Birmingham – drives Seb to the hospital and leaves him in A&E.
2. Eileen faces a terrifying situation
Becoming suspicious a little more quickly than she did with Pat Phelan (progress!), Eileen realises that Jan isn't telling her the full story about his connection to the human traffickers. Deciding to do some detective work of her own, Eileen heads to the nail salon and catches Jan helping Rachel and Nikolai with a cover-up.

Having realised they're close to being rumbled, Jan, Rachel and Nikolai are all busy packing up fixtures and fittings at the salon so they can make a quick getaway.
Once cornered, Jan admits to Eileen that he's a liar and a cheat and never cared for her. A dramatic fight then ensues between Jan and Nikolai, who smashes Eileen's phone to stop her from calling the police.
Fortunately, officers are already on their way to the scene thanks to a tip-off from Seb, who has finally decided to seek help from the authorities. There's hope for justice when those responsible for Alina's ordeal are all finally arrested.
3. Alina gets the support she needs
As Rachel and Nikolai face the likelihood of serious criminal charges, Alina receives help from the Salvation Army (who've also been advising Coronation Street on this storyline in real life).
Alina pays a visit to the cobbles to see Seb, accompanied by a support worker. She explains that the police have raided the place where she and the other girls were staying, but she'll now be transferred to a safe house.
Although Seb begs Alina to keep in touch with him, she insists that she can't make any promises after the recent traumatic events. Seb is upset that it could be the last he'll see of Alina.
4. Vicky plans to turn her back on Robert
After being messed around by Robert for weeks, Vicky is presented with another option for her future. Her ex-partner Jed – Tyler's father – is back on the scene and wants her to move away with him.
Robert is clearly jealous when he pays a visit to Vicky's house and finds her packing her bags to be with Jed. The Bistro boss ends up in a nasty row with Jed as he tries to keep Vicky around, so she orders them both to leave her alone while she makes her decision on what to do next.
5. Imran considers conning Claudia
Imran uses some insider information to his advantage when he offers Claudia £10,000 under the asking price for her flat. The local lawyer has been told that plans for a bail hostel nearby have been scrapped. This would boost the value of the property, but Claudia is unaware of this crucial fact.
Toyah isn't impressed when she finds out that Imran is so easily willing to rip off a neighbour, so she braces herself to scupper his plans and tell Claudia the truth. Scrupulous honesty from a Battersby? How times have changed.
6. Ryan finds himself in Gary's evil sights
Ryan makes a decision he'll definitely live to regret when he impulsively pockets £650 that Gary had hidden away in a desk at the furniture shop. When Gary queries the disappearance of the cash, which originally belonged to Rick Neelan, Ryan denies all knowledge.
Gary realises Ryan is lying to him when Alya mentions that the DJ has suddenly had a financial windfall and is now planning to join her on a trip to Copenhagen. Caught out, Ryan 'fesses up to Gary but insists that he had no idea the money belonged to him.
No-nonsense Gary orders Ryan to pay back every penny of the cash, including interest. This story is paving the way for even bigger scenes due to air in a few weeks' time, as Ryan comes dangerously close to becoming Gary's next victim.
7. Mary makes a shocking discovery
A trip to the Corner Shop takes a surprising turn for Mary as she discovers that Evelyn has been abusing her position at the business. While looking after the place in Dev's absence, Evelyn has been trying to save on her food bills by sneakily marking down any items that she plans to buy herself.
Honest Mary is appalled by Evelyn's actions and threatens to report her to Dev, but her warning backfires when Tyrone's nightmare grandmother bans her from the shop.
Tim suggests that Mary should get some cast-iron evidence of Evelyn's wrongdoing before contacting Dev – and he even agrees to help by doing some snooping on her behalf. Sadly, Tim is unable to come up with the goods and Mary frets that Evelyn will get away with her scam.
8. Evelyn hatches a second scam
Not content with her cut-price items, Evelyn comes up with another dodgy way to exploit her position at the Corner Shop.
Evelyn gets chatting to local footballer James Bailey and hears that Weatherfield County's goalie has gone down with a stomach bug. She then sneakily makes a bet with Tim that the guy in question won't make the team for the following day's match, not letting on that she has insider information.
The situation repeats itself later in the week when James also lets Evelyn know that Tommy Orpington is injured and won't be playing (the team are dropping like flies, it seems). Once again, Evelyn uses this tip-off to her advantage by making a bet to "predict" this will happen.
Once Evelyn gets caught out, Steve warns Tyrone that Evelyn is running an illegal gambling den from the Corner Shop, using inside information gleaned from James. We're guessing trustworthy Tyrone won't applaud Evelyn's ingenuity…
9. Emma is left devastated
A tear-jerking new storyline begins for Emma when she reveals that her dad is seriously ill in hospital. Emma confides in Maria about how her father has been diagnosed with stomach cancer.
Emma also explains that her mother, who lives in Australia, refuses to come over to visit her dad even though the situation is very serious.
These scenes are building up to a much bigger storyline, as Emma faces some life-changing revelations over her family and who her biological father really is.
10. Rita gives Ken some advice
Ken is disappointed when Claudia announces that she'll soon be moving into her flat. Ken has enjoyed having Claudia around at No.1 – so much so that he's secretly hoping she'll stay around for good.
Rita encourages Ken and Claudia to be more honest over their feelings, as it's clear they're going to miss each other. Will Claudia go ahead with the move?
11. Carla is offered a new opportunity
Carla steps in to take control at the café after Roy slips and injures his back. Jo Lafoe, a business associate of Carla's, pays a visit to Roy's Rolls and is shocked to find her working behind the counter.
Certain that Carla's talents are wasted at the café, Jo tells Carla that she has launched a new online business and would like to offer her a job. Carla is flattered, but will she take up the opportunity?
12. There's more bad news for the factory
When the insurance company finally makes its ruling on the Underworld roof collapse, it's bad news for the team as they'll only be getting a £20,000 payout. This won't be enough to rebuild Underworld and leaves the factory facing an uncertain future.
Gary introduces Nick to a business associate, Derek Milligan, who could be a potential investor for the factory. He explains to Nick that Derek would buy the land, rebuild the factory and rent it out to Underworld, on the strict condition that he is put in charge of the building work.
Sarah turns down the suggestion as she doesn't want anything to do with Gary anymore following their split. Word of this quickly gets back to Izzy, who tells the factory staff what's going on. Furious that Sarah is putting her messy love life over their jobs, the workforce overrule her.
