The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince George received a warm welcome on the first day of their official tour in New Zealand today (April 7).
The Duchess looked elegant in a red hat by Gina Foster and a matching Catherine Walker coat, which she accessorised with a silver brooch in the shape of New Zealand's national symbol - the silver fern - reportedly on loan from the Queen.

William and Catherine were greeted upon arrival in Wellington by Maori warriors and the country's Prime Minister John Key as they kicked off their three-week tour of New Zealand and Australia.
The royal couple also performed the traditional Maori greeting of rubbing noses - called hongi - with a Maori elder during the welcoming at Government House in Wellington.
During the traditional welcome ceremony, Prince William was approached by a Maori warrior who placed a dart by the Prince's feet, which he then had to pick up to show that he had arrived in peace.
The tour will see the royal trio visit 12 cities in both New Zealand and Australia. During this time, the Duke and Duchess are set to take part in a yacht race in Auckland Harbour, visit Ayres Rock and pay their respects to victims of the 2011 earthquake in Christchurch.
