Celebrity Gogglebox star Rylan Clark has spoken out against "fabricated" relationship rumours, confirming he is single.
The TV personality has taken to Instagram after reports of him being in a relationship were doing the rounds.
"In light of recent made up stories. We, nor Rylan, wish to comment on his private life," a statement from his PR representatives read. "However on this occasion we feel we need to.
"There is absolutely no truth to this story or the many other stories that have run about this apparent 'relationship' in the past few weeks. Rylan is single and lives on his own. Any reports to the contrary are completely fabricated."
Rylan, who separated from his husband Dan Neal last year after five years of marriage, captioned the post by noting that "I'm looking after myself for a change" and there is no one else involved.
He wrote: "I tried to ignore it but this isn't ok. For the past few weeks there's been stories regarding my 'relationship'. I've stayed out of it, ignored it, but this is ridiculous. I'm not in a relationship, haven't been for over a year and have no intention to.

Following his and Dan's split last year, he admitted it had been "a very difficult time" and he had found it very hard to cope.
He told The Sun: "I got ill and I lost weight, I went down to under ten stone – and I'm six feet four inches, so that's not good.
"The honest truth is that it's been shit. I didn't deal with what happened and now I am. I felt unwell and it was a very difficult time for me."
Celebrity Gogglebox airs on Friday nights at 9pm on Channel 4.
