Made in Chelsea's Sam Thompson has made his first social media post since rumours began that he had split from Love Island star Zara McDermott.
In it, he praises reality TV star and fellow contestant on Celebs Go Dating Pete Wicks for helping him through a "down" time. "Thank you so much for putting up with me for the past week @p_wicks01 I'm incredibly lucky to have people I can lean on when I'm down." he posted.
"I know you're not the soppy type, but you really are the brother I never had. I love you mate."

Sam has been quiet on social media for the last two weeks – he has reportedly moved out of the flat he shared with Zara, and is now living with Pete while he works on the new celebrity version of The Circle (via The Sun).
