Here is a pick of some of the lesser known gems worth checking out on Netflix:
Bobby Fischer Against the World
Late chess legend Bobby Fischer was a child prodigy and world champion. He also lived a strange life, was for a time a fugitive from the US, and ended up living in exile in Iceland. Liz Garbus's documentary combines interviews with his peers and footage from the 1972 World Chess Championship.

Dead Like Me
Bryan Fuller is known for his eccentric, cult TV shows including Pushing Daisies and Wonderfalls.
What to Read Next
gother recommended Dead Like Me, about a group of very atypical grim reapers 'living' in Seattle. The two seasons of the show and its spinoff feature film Life After Death are all on Netflix.
Serpico
A young Al Pacino stars in this 1973 crime drama suggested by Sifter22.
The film is based on the true story of Frank Serpico, a cop who worked undercover to reveal corruption in the NYPD itself. Set over a 12-year period, it's a gripping portrayal of a man struggling to be an honest police officer against overwhelming and disheartening odds.
Danger 5
@digitalspy EASY! @danger5tv!!

Australian spoof show Danger 5 takes a big chunk out of '60s spy shows with effects worthy of Gerry Anderson.
The hilarious series follows the adventures of a group of international spies tasked with assassinating Adolf Hitler and thwarting the Nazis' attempts at world domination, poking fun at every camp cliché along the way.
Video Games: The Movie
Clusterbombed gave a shout out to this "cracking wee documentary about the history of games".
Jeremy Snead crowdfunded the film that lovingly charts the rise of video gaming from the humble Atari all the way up to the Xbox.
The League
@digitalspy The League. Brilliant U.S comedy series
— Dale (@PRICEYBAY) February 19, 2015
The League charts the ups and downs of a group of friends drawn together and torn apart by their love for American football. American fantasy football, that is.
Comedy actors Mark Duplass, Nick Kroll, Stephen Rannazzisi, Paul Scheer, Jon Lajoie and Katie Aselton lead a cast that features an impressive raft of guest appearances including Jeff Goldblum, Eliza Dushku and Better Call Saul's Bob Odenkirk.
Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead
The documentary about the crash diets of two deeply unhealthy men who decide to turn their lives around comes recommended by Darthchaffinch.
The movie follows Australian Joe's trip across the US and delves into the dangers of modern lifestyles and eating habits. Food for thought, if you will.
