The Cribs were once asked to do a song with One Direction.
Gary Jarman of the band revealed that One Direction are a fan of The Cribs and that it 'could have been interesting'.
"We even got asked to do a song with One Direction; it's a pretty weird way to infiltrate that kind of thing," Jarman told The Mancunion.
"It wasn't even Sony who asked us, 1D are actually fans of us - it could have been an interesting thing."
One Direction have previously worked on songs with Justin Young of The Vaccines and Ed Sheeran.
The Cribs will release their new album For All My Sisters on March 23.
