One Direction are laughing off rumours of conflict as they prepare to embark on a "prolonged" break.
The lads will be taking time off for at least the next year, although they haven't worked out how long they'll be apart.
"It's a prolonged break, so we don't know these things," Liam Payne admitted on Loose Women.
The foursome also quashed suggestions that a rift has grown in the band, in the wake of each star getting their own tour dressing rooms for the first time ever.
"We had our own dressing rooms for this tour which was quite nice, but it's just purely because we don't get to see our families, so when we do see them we kinda want our own space," Payne added.
Before their hiatus, One Direction have recorded their first album - Made in the AM - without former member Zayn Malik.

"It's honestly not much different. The process was similar," Niall Horan said of the recording process.
"We sort of [work with] different people separately, and then we come back and write together sometimes.
"The process hasn't really changed that much. Obviously, we're missing a voice, which is the biggest thing. I think we've done well to cover that ground."
Earlier this week, Zayn gave an interview in which he claimed that One Direction's music never truly allowed him to express himself.
One Direction are currently in the US ahead of their appearance at the American Music Awards this coming weekend.
