Rylan Clark-Neal is up for representing the United Kingdom at next year's Eurovision Song Contest - so long as Holly Willoughby and Ben Shephard will be his backing dancers.

And considering This Morning's stand-in presenter Shephard has a contemporary dance degree, it should be a breeze...

Lamenting UK act Joe and Jake finishing third from bottom with a measly 62 points, Rylan said during his showbiz segment: "I would definitely... Oh no, I'm not going to say it because there'll be a story out of it!"

Co-host Holly immediately asked: "Are you going to represent us?"

Rylan confessed: "There is a little part of me that thinks that I've done muggier stuff before - I would love it!"

Holly volunteered to be his backing dancer, excitedly adding: "Do it! And I will backing dance! [And Ben's] got a contemporary dance degree!"

Rylan then presented an ultimatum to the pair, declaring: "Look, if we're gonna lose we might as well lose with a bang.

"I will represent the country if you two dance with me, deal?"

Whilst Holly said "deal" straight away, Ben was more reticent, before finally agreeing.

The Ukraine emerged victorious with Jamala's '1944' at the Eurovision Song Contest on Saturday night.

This Morning airs weekdays on ITV.
