Britney Spears is ready to hit us one more time.

It was revealed yesterday (April 10) that the singer would decide on the single today, and now the Las Vegas Sun has reported that the first track taken from her ninth album will be 'Make Me (Oooh)'.

Britney will be shooting the video next Monday (April 18), and it will be released with the song in four weeks once editing is done. The single and video are apparently "all new, totally different and somewhat unexpected".

However, Britney's ninth album will then be released one month after the single if all goes to plan, not in the previously-reported four weeks' time.

Britney has described her ninth album as 'the best thing she's done in a long time' and has been clocking in some time with Beyoncé hitmaker Carla Marie Williams.

Her last release was 2013's Britney Jean, which peaked at number four in the US and 34 in the UK.
