Hugh Jackman's Wolverine swan song Logan is shaping up to be an X-Men film like no other judging by its latest trailer.
The new teaser reveals more about Wolverine's relationship with his young female clone Laura (Dafne Keen) and an ageing, physically frail Professor X (Patrick Stewart).
It also sees Logan's new charge pop her own claws in a showdown with Donald Pierce (Boyd Holbrook) and his cyborg minions the Reavers – and let's just say that we don't rate their chances one bit. We haven't seen a young actor commit this much violence in a film since Chloe Moretz tore through an army of mobsters in Kick-Ass.
The film is billed as the last outing in the X-Men series for both Jackman and Stewart, who starred together in the original film way back in 2000.
And is it just us who get the feeling that it's going to be a very emotional ride?
Logan is set in a world where mutants have apparently been driven to the edge of extinction. Wolverine reluctantly agrees to help his mentor Charles Xavier to help a young girl (known as X-23 in the comics) who was created by a shady organisation from his DNA to be a living weapon.
