Pet Sematary by Stephen King

The book: It's described by one review on Amazon as "the most frightening novel Stephen King has ever written"... which has got to be saying something considering this man created Pennywise. It tells the story of a family who settle in Maine, however their house is near a seemingly innocent pet cemetery (spelt wrong on the sign) which turns out to be much darker than anticipated.

The film: The trailer has already got people creeped out with a very disturbed looking cat. The movie stars John Lithgow and Jason Clarke.
