Nicole Kidman's Grace of Monaco will premiere at the openingof the 67th Cannes Film Festival tonight (May 14).

Kidman plays iconic Hollywood star Grace Kelly in the Oliver Dahan-directed biopic, which focuses on Kelly's marriage to Prince Rainier III of Monaco in 1956.

The late Academy Award-winning actress met the prince during a photo session in Cannes at the Palace of Monaco in 1955.

She had been romantically linked to charismatic French actor Jean-Pierre Aumont, with whom she was pictured on numerous occasions at the festival, prior to meeting the prince.
