The Grand Budapest Hotel leads the way at this year's EE British Academy Film Awards with a total of 11 nominations.

The Wes Anderson-directed movie is up for Best Film against Birdman, Boyhood, The Imitation Game and The Theory of Everything, while Ralph Fiennes is nominated for Leading Actor.

Birdman and The Theory of Everything each have ten nominations, followed by The Imitation Game with nine, and Boyhood and Whiplash with five.

Fiennes will be competing for the acting gong against Michael Keaton, Eddie Redmayne, Benedict Cumberbatch and Nightcrawler's Jake Gyllenhaal.

Anderson is also up for an award in the Director category, as are Alejandro G Iñárritu, James Marsh, Richard Linklater and Damien Chazelle.

Pride also gets a mention in Outstanding British Film, along with The Imitation Game, The Theory of Everything, Under the Skin, '71 and Paddington.

Meanwhile, The Lego Movie, Big Hero 6 and The Boxtrolls vie for Animated Film, and there are nominations in the technical categories for Guardians of the Galaxy, Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, Interstellar and X-Men: Days of Future Past.

The 2015 BAFTAs will take place on Sunday, February 8 at London's Royal Opera House, with Stephen Fry hosting for the 10th time.
