They're undoubtedly the two biggest names being thrown around in the ongoing debate over who will become the next James Bond - but Tom Hiddleston and Idris Elba are both being rather cagey about the whole thing.
When questioned by reporters at the BAFTA Television Awards about the possibility of becoming 007, Luther star Elba simply said: "It's the biggest rumour in the world - who knows".
And Hiddleston was equally shy about the prospect, batting off a series of Bond references by joking: "How many more questions have you got?"
But he was more open to discussing his so-called 'Bond audition' The Night Manager, in which he played spy Jonathan Pine.
When asked if he was expecting a nomination for the drama at next year's ceremony, the actor said: "Chance would be a fine thing. I wouldn't want to count my chickens".
And he didn't sound too sure about a second series either, saying, "I don't know just yet", when asked if the story will continue.

But it seems Hiddleston would jump at the chance if the opportunity came up, adding: "I love playing Jonathan Pine. He's one of the most fascinating characters I've ever played - four characters if you include all his different identities!"
Elba's biggest mission of the night, however, was keeping his voice, as he was battling a sore throat on the red carpet.
"Unfortunately I've lost my voice," he explained. "I'm a little bit nervous that if I win I won't have much to say!"
Graham Norton hosts tonight's BAFTA TV awards from the Royal Festival Hall in central London. Coverage of the ceremony is airing between 8pm and 10pm on BBC One.
