Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 stars Karen Gillan and Zoe Saldana want Marvel to hurry up and give us a Nebula-Gamora spinoff already.
The love-hate relationship between the step-siblings has been one of the backbones of Guardians films thus far, making them a natural choice for a solo adventure as Marvel moves beyond its traditional Phases.

Digital Spy put the question of a spinoff directly to Karen Gillan and Zoe Saldana while they were walking the red carpet at Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2's London premiere on Monday (April 24).
"I'm waiting for this [spinoff] because obviously this needs to happen," Karen beamed. "I don't know if it's ever going to happen, but I would love it.
"I think it would be amazing to see a female-driven film like that. We have Captain Marvel coming up, which is quite exciting. We could do with some more females at the forefront."

Zoe Saldana even pitched us a storyline for a female-centric Guardians spinoff that would 100% be the sassiest story in the history of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
"If I was the boss, only Karen and I would be here with Mantis," Zoe teased. "We would invite Chris [Pratt] and Dave [Bautista and the rest of the guys] to just come inside the Milano and have Hors d'oeuvres with us. Trust me, girl power all the way!"
We're sooooo in. All three of the ladies will return for next year's Avengers: Infinity War, where the Guardians will join forces with the likes of Black Widow, Scarlet Witch and (possibly) Captain Marvel for the first time ever.
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2 opens in the UK on April 28, 2017, and in the US on May 5, 2017. Watch Digital Spy speak with the cast at Monday's European premiere below:
