We always know Marvel films will have post-credits scenes, but Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2 will take it to a whole new level.

Following its press screenings in the US, it was reported that the sequel will have four post-credits scenes, with writer/director James Gunn confirming the news on Twitter and adding that there will actually be FIVE.

That marks the most post-credits scenes that any film has had, let alone any Marvel film which usually come with at least two post-credits scenes – often a fun one and one that sets up the future of the MCU.

But clearly that wasn't enough for Gunn so, according to ScreenRant, there are four during the credits and one at the very end of the credits.

Apparently, at least two of them set up things for the future, potentially an Infinity War tease as we know that the Guardians will be making an appearance in the epic team-up outing.

While we ponder just how Gunn has fit five scenes into a credits sequence, the first reactions for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2 have landed and it sounds like another Marvel winner.

Yesterday (April 17), the writer/director also confirmed on Facebook that he will be directing Vol 3.

"In the end, my love for Rocket, Groot, Gamora, Star-Lord, Yondu, Mantis, Drax, and Nebula – and some of the other forthcoming heroes – goes deeper than you guys can possibly imagine," he wrote.
