It's not Star Wars without Warwick Davis, right? Well, fans can continue seeing him in the sci-fi franchise as he's confirmed he will be in Episode VIII.

However, the Star Wars veteran is keeping tight-lipped on his role in the Rian Johnson-directed instalment.

When asked by Australian TV if he has a part in Episode VIII, Davis said: "I do, yes. That's all I can say."

Although Warwick couldn't share more about his role than a confirmation that he's in the film, he did hint that there will be cliffhangers.

He said: "Obviously we're moving into the territory of Episode VIII very soon as well, and much like Empire Strikes Back I'm sure it's going to deliver some quite impactful story moments, and it'll leave us with some cliffhangers as well which resolve in Episode IX."

Warwick, who made his acting debut in Star Wars: Return of the Jedi as Wicket the Ewok, has also been in The Phantom Menace and will be seen in the first Star Wars spin-off Rogue One.
