Zac Efron has put his Baywatch lifeguard training to good use in rescuing none other than beach beauty Sacha Baron Cohen.

The Baywatch actor documented his 'catch of the day' on Twitter, as he emerged from the ocean with Cohen's Grimsby character Nobby in his arms.

"Caught this guy creepin around set today. He showed me a scene from 'The Brothers Grimsby' - I was dying laughing," Efron tweeted.

Nobby's been up to all sorts of trouble recently. In fact, last week he showed up with an army of Donald Trump supporters at the Grimsby premiere.

Meanwhile, Efron will be doing plenty more saving opposite Dwayne Johnson and David Hasselhoff himself in the upcoming Baywatch movie.

Baywatch is currently shooting - and arrives in cinemas next spring.
