Donald Trump – aka "the ultimate football hooligan" – can definitely count on the support of Grimsby's Nobby (aka Sacha Baron Cohen) this November.

At Grimsby's Los Angeles premiere, Nobby waved around a handgun while walking the red carpet in the company of some rather err… white… Trump backers.

"I am swearing allegiance to [Trump]," Nobby boasted to reporters. "He is a fantastic bloke, and the great thing that history has shown is getting a demagogue who speaks at rallies, spreading racial abuse, never leads to anything bad.

"It always works out and I'm just a big, big fan of him. He's the ultimate football hooligan. He listens to what people say and then he kicks their f**king heads in."

The endorsement should come as no surprise, since Nobby's pal Borat once expressed his own undying loyalty to arch-conservative "George Walter Bush".

Grimsby has actually been linked to Trump before – as various conservatives apparently expressed outrage at a gag in the movie where 'Trump' contracts AIDS.

Grimsby – known as The Brothers Grimsby in the US – is now playing in the UK and opens in North America on March 11. Watch a NSFW trailer below:
