We've caught glimpses of this scene in the previous trailers and TV spots, but now its wider context within the film is becoming clearer.
It looks like Boyega's Stormtrooper deserter Finn will crash-land on Jakku and get rescued by scavenger Rey. From there the pair will likely cross paths with Han Solo and the adventure will begin.
Star Wars: The Force Awakens opens in cinemas this December, and the hype is already building with advanced ticket sales soaring past $50 million.
