Ever since the first Star Wars: The Force Awakens trailer landed late last year fans have been puzzled by Kylo Ren's problematic crossguard lightsaber.
Aren't those twin side-blades, well, a bit dangerous? And where exactly did he get it from in the first place?
Consider these questions answered thanks to an eagle-eyed Reddit user who spied Adam Driver's lightsaber prop at Disneyland.
The description reads as follows...
Kylo Ren's unusual lightsaber is an ancient design, although the one he carries is recently constructed. The crossguard blades, or quillons, are raw power vented from primary central blade.
So, exhaust vents for a bit of pure Dark Side rage.
