Ever wondered what Stormtrooper helmets would look like if the Imperial soldiers were animals?
Wonder no more because New York artist Blank William just happens to be a huge Star Wars fan - and he's proved it with these tusk-tastic designs inspired by original Stormtrooper outfit creators Ralph McQuarrie, Liz Moore and Nick Pemberton.
Titled 'The New Order', inspiration came from Blank William's "love of Star Wars and second for his love of animals".
An official statement on the designs reads as follows...
It was interesting for him to think that he grew up in a world where his idols growing up were Darth Vader, Luke Skywalker, and Stormtroopers. In another time, animals such as Elephants, Hippos, and Rhinos were once revered in the same way. The title 'The New Order' is a reference to 'The Empire' in the movie franchise but also, for better or for worse, to our replacement of this reverence to these beautiful powerful animals with now these amazing creations of pop culture.
These designs only exist as renderings at the moment, but with The Force Awakens fast approaching and everyone eager for a bit more Star Wars in their life, how long before they become a reality?
