Toy Story 5 has now landed in cinemas, bringing Woody and Buzz back into our lives again, although it's Jessie who finally gets the lead role in a Toy Story movie as she tries to save Bonnie from the temptation of technology.
If you haven't been persuaded by the strong reviews to go and see Toy Story 5 at the cinema, you might be waiting for it to land on Disney+. Disney has yet to confirm a streaming release date for the new movie, but we know it'll eventually join the others on Disney+.
We've taken a look back at recent Disney releases to work out when you can expect Toy Story 5 to be released on Disney+, as well as when it'll be released on digital platforms.
When will Toy Story 5 be released on Disney+?
As mentioned above, Toy Story 5 has yet to confirm its Disney+ release date, but we have a pretty good idea of when to expect it to land on the streaming service.
Disney releases usually take around 100 days from their cinema release to their streaming debut. It's sometimes a bit shorter and sometimes a bit longer, but almost always around the three-month mark – unless we're talking about Avatar movies which take six months.
That means that Toy Story 5 will land on Disney+ in late September and since Disney favours a Wednesday release for new streaming titles, the likeliest release dates for Toy Story 5 are Wednesday 23 September (just before the 100-day window) or Wednesday 30 September (just after the 100-day window).

It typically takes two months from the cinema release to the digital release, which means Toy Story 5 should be available to buy digitally from mid-to-late August.
