Avatar: Fire and Ash has finally confirmed its Disney+ release date, but if you can't wait for that, the latest epic from James Cameron is already available to watch at home after Disney released Avatar 3 on digital platforms.
If you just can't wait for its streaming debut, you can now buy a digital copy of Avatar: Fire and Ash on Prime Video and AppleTV, among other digital retailers, to be able to watch it at home right now.
But if you want to wait for its Disney+ release in June, here's when to expect Avatar: Fire and Ash to land on Disney+.
When will Avatar: Fire and Ash be released on Disney+?
As mentioned above, Avatar: Fire and Ash has finally confirmed its Disney+ release date as Wednesday 24 June. It'll be available to watch from 8am UK time on the day of release (midnight PT and 3am ET in the US.
This is later than the usual 100-day gap between the cinema and streaming release for Disney releases. However, James Cameron is a big proponent of the cinema experience and has always favoured a longer, more traditional gap between cinema and streaming release.
Avatar: The Way of Water took just under six months from its cinema release on 16 December 2022 to arrive on Disney+, landing on 7 June 2023. It's a similar timeline for Avatar 3, but with an extra few weeks to wait.

The movie will be released on DVD, Blu-ray and 4K on Monday 1 June in the UK if you prefer a physical copy. There's also a Steelbook edition if you want to splash out a little bit more.
