Now that Wicked: For Good is out, fans finally know the identity of the actor playing Dorothy Gale in Jon M Chu's movie adaptation of the stage musical - not that we see her face in either film, which follows on from how it is in the theatre.

Actor Bethany Weaver, who has some West End credits and made her movie debut with the Wicked films, has spoken about taking on the role of Kansas' most famous dog owner.

On her Instagram, Weaver not only wrote a lengthy post showing her appreciation for being part of the cast, but also shared a handful of pics of herself in costume hanging around the set, including one of her alongside the new Tin Man and Scarecrow.

"What an honour it has been to walk on the yellow brick road with my fellow Witch Hunters @jbayleaf @ethanslater @omariabernard and not forgetting Oscar the dog! (Toto)" she wrote.

"A special thank you to many, thank you @universalpicturesuk @universalpictures for this incredible entrance into film, I will be forever grateful and will never forget it.
