Robert Downey Jr has teased more potential Avengers: Doomsday cast reveals after the divisive live-stream.
Yesterday, Marvel drip-fed the many stars that will appear in the upcoming Avengers movie, including a number of classic X-Men stars.
Downey Jr, who will be returning to the MCU in the movie – this time as Doctor Doom – has now suggested that even more announcements may be on the horizon.
Taking to Instagram, the star posted a clip of chairs emblazoned with the names of all the announced actors, ending with him teasingly shushing to the camera.
"That's what u call a deep bench of talent… actually it's more like a row, but an extra long one… That must be it… right?" he wrote in the caption.

Marvel then teased in the comments that "there's always room for more," while directors the Russo Brothers added: "It’s time…".
The manner of the reveals didn't please all fans, with some complaining about the live-stream's long time frame as new names were added every 15 minutes or so.
Those announced to appear in Doomsday were Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Vanessa Kirby as Sue Storm/Invisible Woman, Anthony Mackie as Sam Wilson/Captain America, Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes, Letitia Wright as Shuri/Black Panther and Paul Rudd as Scott Lang/Ant-Man.
Also confirmed were Wyatt Russell as John Walker/US Agent, Tenoch Huerta Mejía as Namor, Ebon Moss-Bachrach as Ben Grimm/The Thing, Simu Liu as Shang-Chi, Florence Pugh as Yelena Belova and Lewis Pullman as Robert 'Bob' Reynolds/Sentry.

Danny Ramirez (Joaquin Torres/Falcon), Joseph Quinn (Johnny Storm/Human Torch), David Harbour (Red Guardian), Winston Duke (M'Baku), Hannah John-Kamen (Ava Starr/Ghost), Tom Hiddleston (Loki), Channing Tatum (Remy LeBeau/Gambit) and Pedro Pascal (Reed Richards/Mister Fantastic) were also announced.
Fans were also delighted to learn that X-Men stars Patrick Stewart (Charles Xavier/Professor X), Ian McKellen (Erik Magnus Lehnsherr/Magneto), Alan Cumming (Kurt Wagner/Nightcrawler), Rebecca Romijn (Raven Darkhölme/Mystique), Kelsey Grammer (Hank McCoy/Beast) and James Marsden (Scott Summers/Cyclops) were returning.
Downey Jr was announced for Doomsday last year at Comic-Con, with the unexpected confirmation shocking fans at the time following his previous turn as Iron Man.
Avengers: Doomsday is released in cinemas on May 1, 2026. All four Avengers movies are streaming on Disney+.
