Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy is officially the longest movie in the Bridget Jones franchise.
According to the BBFC website, the fourth film, which arrives in UK cinemas on Valentine's Day, has a confirmed run time of 125 minutes (aka 2 hours and 5 minutes).

Upcoming Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy is based on author Helen Fielding's book of the same name (released back in 2013) and sees our heroine single again following the tragic death of long-time love Mark Darcy (Colin Firth) four years prior.
Far from alone though, Bridget (Renée Zellweger) is a mother to 9-year-old Billy and 4-year-old Mabel and as usual can seek support from a number of pals, including original gang Shazzer, Jude and Tom (Sally Phillips, Shirley Henderson and James Callis), plus work colleague Miranda (Sarah Solemani) and gynaecologist Dr Rawlings (Emma Thompson) - both introduced in the third film and returning for the fourth.

Doctor Strange's Chiwetel Ejiofor plays the teacher in question with One Day's Leo Woodall also appearing as another love interest for Bridget.
To the delight of fans, Hugh Grant returns to reprise his role as Daniel Cleaver in Mad About the Boy after not appearing in the third film due to script issues.
In a recent interview for British Vogue, Grant questioned Zellweger about the world of Bridget Jones, where the leading lady explained why she agreed to a fourth film.
"I love her," she said. "And her story is not finished. As long as Helen [Fielding] puts pen to paper, she’s alive."
Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy will be released in UK cinemas on February 14. It will be released exclusively on Peacock in the US on February 13.
