Sex Education star Emma Mackey stars in a first look at her new movie Hot Milk.
Mackey features in the upcoming film as Sofia, who journeys to a Spanish seaside town with her mother Rose (Killing Eve's Fiona Shaw) to meet a mysterious healer.
The synopsis continues: "As Sofia embraces an affair with an alluring stranger (Ingrid, played by Old's Vicky Krieps), tensions with her overbearing mother threaten their fragile bond."

Shantaram's Vincent Perez and Living's Patsy Ferran also star in the film, which is based on Deborah Levy's bestselling book of the same name.
Berlinale has now released a first-look photo from Hot Milk, which will have its world premiere at the film festival next month. A UK release date hasn't been announced yet.

Hot Milk marks the directorial debut of award-winning writer Rebecca Lenkiewicz, whose previous work includes Polish-language film Ida, 2018's Collette and 2022 drama She Said, starring Carey Mulligan.

Hot Milk isn't the only upcoming film for Mackey, as the Barbie actor is also set to star in James L. Brooks' latest blockbuster Ella McCay.
Mackey will star in the film as an idealistic young politician who tries to balance familial issues and a difficult work life, as she prepares to take over her mentor's job as the state’s governor.
The actor will be joined by a star-studded cast including Halloween’s Jamie Lee Curtis, Woody Harrelson, The Bear’s Ayo Edebiri, Slow Horses actor Jack Lowden, Albert Brooks, Kumail Nanjiani and Spike Fearn.
Hot Milk premieres at Berlinale next month, with a UK release date TBC.
