Melissa Joan Hart has landed her next role in a Netflix Christmas movie.
According to Deadline, the actor will join Clueless star Alicia Silverstone, Oliver Hudson, The Good Place's Jameela Jamil and Pierson Fodé in the festive rom-com A Merry Little Ex-Mas.
Written by Holly Hester, the story will follow a recently separated couple as they attempt to have one last Christmas with their kids before the wife sells the family home and begins her fresh start.

However, things get complicated when the husband brings his amazing new girlfriend to join in on the holiday fun.
Melissa Joan Hart and her mother Paula Hart will produce the movie under their Hartbreak Films banner. Silverstone will serve as executive producer and Steve Carr is on board to direct the project.

Meanwhile, Netflix's Hot Frosty debuted with a perfect score on Rotten Tomatoes last month from 11 reviews. It currently holds a respectable 82% critics' score after 33 reviews.
The Christmas rom-com features Mean Girls' Lacey Chabert as a widow whose life is transformed after falling for a steamy snowman (Dustin Milligan) who has been brought to life.
"Through his naivety, the snowman helps Cathy to laugh, feel and love again, as the two fall for each other just in time for the holidays... and before he melts," reads the official synopsis.
The movie also stars Brooklyn Nine-Nine's Joe Lo Truglio and Craig Robinson, Mike & Molly's Katy Mixon, Dumb and Dumber's Lauren Holly and Selling Sunset's Chrishell Stause.
