The Wicked stage musical lasts about two and a half hours, roughly as long as each of the films on its own.

Director Jon M Chu previously spoke about why he decided to split the movie in two, explaining that he felt he couldn't cut anything out.

"The alternative was not possible, to be honest," he said. "We tried to make it into one movie, and you had to rip out songs and it became not Wicked."

Wicked: For Good is out in cinemas now, while Wicked Part One is available to watch at home via platforms including AppleTV, Sky Cinema and Prime Video.
