Uncharted 2 has been given an exciting update from a Sony boss.
The follow-up to the 2022 video game adaptation is yet to be officially confirmed. However, during a recent Sony Pictures presentation, Variety reports that its president of international distribution Steven O'Dell did reference the sequel among its upcoming titles – meaning it is happening.
While no further information was given on the project, this no doubt is positive news for Uncharted fans.

"I'd be interested to see what the story's like, and where that adventure takes us," he continued. "But I'm excited. I know audiences really loved the first one, so we'll see."
Wahlberg also told The Direct in December last year that "lots of different ideas" had been aired, with a script in the works – further quipping that the potential movie "would consist of having the moustache the whole entire time".
Producer Charles Roven told The Hollywood Reporter last year that the team was "definitely looking" into doing a follow-up movie.
"We had a really good time with that movie," he added. "The fans really liked the movie, and people who didn’t know anything about the game really liked the movie. So we are definitely looking to make another one of those."
Uncharted is available to buy from Prime Video, iTunes, Microsoft Store and other digital retailers.
