Christina Applegate has said that she is hopeful that a third Anchorman movie will be made.
Applegate reprises her role as Veronica Corningstone-Burgundy in Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues, alongside Will Ferrell, Steve Carell, Paul Rudd and David Koechner.

The actress recently told Access Hollywood that she hopes that a third film will be commissioned sooner rather than later.
"I don't want to wait nine years [like between the first two films]," Applegate declared.
She went on to say: "I would do it next year if I could."
