Black Friday is around the corner, with plenty of deals already dropping at many retailers. And, over at Zavvi, plenty of limited edition Steelbooks are currently on sale.
These sturdier editions are usually considered collectors items and usually boast special artwork, such as intricate paintings, as opposed to the typical film posters.
Most of the Steelbooks included in the sale, which involves a lot of Marvel movies, are the 4K Ultra HD versions with the standard Blu-ray disc as a bonus.
Amongst the steelbooks on offer? Black Panther: Wakanda Forever's Zavvi exclusive collector's set different artwork for the slipcase and the Steelbook itself, as well as a few extra goodies. It's down from £49.99 down to £19.99.
Also priced at £19.99 after dropping from £49.99? Thor: Love and Thunder and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness' 4K Steelbooks.
Going back a little bit, Marvel's Thor: Ragnarok Mondo #60 and Captain America: Civil War Mondo #57 have stunningly colourful Steelbook covers, and are both down from £29.99 to £16.99.
What to Read Next
With Deadpool 3 back filming, now might be a good time to rewatch the first two in preparation.
Both have fun artwork, with Deadpool in a pool for the second film, and our antihero riding a unicorn against an '80s backdrop for the first. Just be aware that the first film is a standard Blu-ray and not 4K.
Outside of the MCU, there's last year's remastered 4K Steelbook releases of Dr Who and the Daleks and Daleks' Invasion Earth 2150 AD, replete with appropriate '60s pop-arty designs. They are down to £24.99 and £19.99, respectively.
Another Steelbook of note is last year's Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero, which is half price and features Gohan's brilliantly ridiculous Beast mode on the front cover.
