Producers Oren Koules and Mark Burg said of Tobin Bell's return: "What a thrill to be reuniting with Tobin. His performance as John Kramer is part of the magic that made this franchise a phenomenon and his character is an active part of this film."
Saw 10 is due to hit cinemas on October 27, 2023, with producers Burg and Koules saying that the new film has been influenced by fans and will reflect their requests, but what those requests are, we'll have to wait and see as plot details are being kept under wraps.

"We have been listening to what the fans have been asking for and are hard at work planning a movie that Saw aficionados and horror fans alike will love. More details will be revealed soon," said the producers.
Famously starring as Jigsaw for the first three films in the franchise, Bell was killed off and returned via flashbacks for the majority of the remaining films.
He kicked off the film series as the killer John Kramer, a man who has survived colon cancer and subsequently sets up a series of elaborate and deadly games to test his victims' will to live.
