Agents of SHIELD star Chloe Bennet, who played Daisy Johnson AKA Quake in the Marvel show, is headlining a new romantic comedy from the channel E!

Bennet will star in the TV movie Married by Mistake alongside Blair Penner, Anthony Konechny and Linda Ko. The movie is written by former Boardwalk Empire staff writer Meg Jackson, while TV movie veteran Mike Rohl will direct the picture.

The movie follows Bennet's Riley, who gets drunk after losing her dream job and wakes up the next morning married to Penner's Nate. Riley and Nate are former classmates who graduated together and end up partying following the loss of Riley's job.

The two then head to Tennessee in the hope of rescuing Nate's family business but struggle to keep their deception a secret. Meanwhile, Konechny plays Nate's brother, who immediately becomes drawn to Riley despite the fact that he thinks his brother is married to Riley.

Bennet played Daisy Johnson in 136 episodes of Agents of SHIELD from 2013 to 2020 and was a key character throughout the entirety of the show. Meanwhile, Konechny has his own Marvel connection. He appeared in the small role of Sam in 2016's X-Men: Age of Apocalypse. He also appeared in Fifty Shades of Grey, Godzilla and the DC superhero show Supergirl.

Penner appeared in two DC shows himself: as Craig/Acolyte Craig in The Flash and as George Adler in Batwoman. Ko also appeared in The Flash in the brief role of an NSA official.
