Guardians of the Galaxy star Chris Pratt has revealed that he thinks that the third instalment of the highly acclaimed franchise is "a true masterpiece".
While promoting his new series The Terminal List, Pratt, who plays Starlord in the MCU, sat down with Digital Spy to talk a little about the upcoming Guardians film and share his excitement over what is being called an emotional conclusion to the Guardians saga.
"It's fantastic. [Director] James Gunn just watched a rough assembly the other day. I called him yesterday. We Facetimed, and he's very, very proud of the work that everyone's done. He said it's the best work all of us have ever done. He feels very, very confident. The script was amazing," he said.

While GotG 3 won't be in cinemas until 2023, we won't have to wait too long to see our favourite misfits back in action, as all of them are going to be making an appearance in Thor: Love and Thunder, which releases on July 7, 2022.
And after that, we'll get a Holiday Special on Disney+ in December 2022 which is apparently going to introduce "one of the greatest MCU characters of all time".

The film is also set to introduce Will Poulter as Adam Warlock, who has been rumoured to appear in the MCU ever since he was teased in one of Guardians Vol 2's credits scenes.
"I feel very, very lucky and honoured to have been welcomed into the Marvel family," said Poulter of his casting at the time.
"Particularly in a franchise like Guardians of the Galaxy, which I regard to be incredibly creative and very, very unique. James Gunn is someone I really, really admire so I feel very lucky."
The Terminal List is available to watch on Prime Video, while Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3 is released in cinemas on May 5, 2023.
