Marvel star Salma Hayek has replaced Westworld's Thandiwe Newton in the third Magic Mike film, Magic Mike's Last Dance.
Deadline quotes a Warner Bros spokesperson as stating: "Thandiwe Newton has made the difficult decision to step away from the production of Warner Bros Pictures' Magic Mike's Last Dance to deal with family matters."
The film is currently in production in London, with the first film's director Steven Soderbergh returning to helm the project. Magic Mike XXL director Gregory Jacobs is serving as a producer.
The role, as well as the plot of the third film in the series, is being kept under wraps at the moment.
