LEGO and Star Wars are celebrating their 25th anniversary of working together with a brand new R2-D2 set.

The pair have released R2-D2 toy sets in the past, but their latest offering comes with special anniversary presentation and a bonus minifigure.

R2-D2 is designed for both display and play, with a 360-degree rotating head and an attachable third leg just like the real droid. Also included here will be an attachable periscope and various tools.

LEGO celebrates this milestone anniversary with a black plaque commemorating 25 years of working with Star Wars producers Lucasfilm, along with a bonus figure of Darth Malak with his lightsaber.
