Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker is now just under four months old – and it's officially here to watch at home.

The ninth and final instalment of the Skywalker Saga is available digitally in HD and 4K Ultra HD now, as well as Blu-ray, DVD and 4K Ultra HD.

Those looking to finish off their Star Wars collection can pre-order a Blu-ray copy from Amazon (with Limited Edition Resistance Sleeve) for £14.99, the DVD for £9.99, the 3D version for £19.99, and the 4K edition for £24.99.

If purchased through Zavvi, you'll also receive exclusive steelbooks – pre-order a 3D version for £25.99 or 4K edition for £32.99.

Limited collector's editions also include a metal slip case, four art cards and two collector pin badges and are available for pre-order at £59.99 for the 3D version and £67.99 for the 4K option.

Episode 9 was released in December and received a mixed reaction from fans and critics alike, but in our review we described it as a satisfying conclusion to the Skywalker Saga.

Emperor Palpatine was back for the film, but the actor behind the role, Ian McDiarmid, previously told Digital Spy that he never expected to be return to the franchise. After all, he was lobbed down the reactor shaft of the Death Star, which then blew up.

"I thought I was dead – no, I thought he was dead," McDiarmid laughed.

"And [George Lucas] said, 'No, he's dead' so I just accepted that, but then of course I didn't know I was going to be doing the prequels.

"So in a sense he wasn't dead, because we went back to visit him when he was a young man.

"But I was totally surprised by this!"
