Hot on the heels of the arrival of the final trailer for Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker and with cinema tickets now officially on sale, we now also know how long the final film in the Skywalker Saga will be.

Beating Rian Johnson's 2017 instalment The Last Jedi by three minutes, AMC Cinemas in the US has revealed that Rise of Skywalker has a runtime of a whopping 155 minutes, making it the longest Star Wars movie ever.

It doesn't quite reach the bum-numbing three-and-a-half-hour length of Martin Scorsese's The Irishmanbut damn, that's pretty long.
