Paul Rudd is known for being one of the most relatable Hollywood actors out there, but he's joked that getting involved in the MCU has caused his ego to do the opposite of shrink down to ant size.
The actor, who plays size-changing superhero Ant-Man in the Marvel universe, hosted the Season 44 finale of Saturday Night Live this weekend and quipped that he's changed since last hosting the show six years ago.
"When I first officially met SNL in 2008, I was like, 'This guy’s crazy.' You were doing sketches about some guy named Barack and I hadn’t done a Marvel movie yet, so I was still treating people pretty well. Man, times have changed," he joked.
He cheekily added: "After all of these years I knew we'd always be there for each other, whenever you needed a host and I needed to promote a movie."
He's previously hosted the show in 2008, 2010 and 2013 and times have certainly changed for him since, having made his debut as Scott Lang in Ant-Man in 2015.
Rudd made the most of his latest appearance on SNL, also taking part in sketches including a rap about Game of Thrones and a game show segment called 'What's Wrong With This Picture?'
