Try as he might, Ben Affleck is totally useless at getting any Star Wars: Episode IX spoilers out of his Triple Frontier co-star Oscar Isaac.
Maybe if he was still Batman, it would have been different, eh?
Ben and Oscar were chatting to ET Canada ahead of their Netflix movie's release when Ben was asked if he had managed to uncover any Star Wars secrets during filming.
Admitting he was "always" trying to eke out information from his co-star, Affleck said: "[I was] always working him for Star Wars information and never getting any."

Ben needn't it take it personally though, as Oscar is so committed to keeping those Episode IX secrets that he's pleading ignorance to anyone who'll listen. "I still don't know what happens and I finished shooting like a month ago," he claimed.

Of course, Isaac – who plays lovable rogue and X-wing pilot Poe Dameron in the series – is happy to ramp up the excitement for JJ Abrams' upcoming instalment when the mood strikes.

Opening up recently about the "energy" during Episode IX's production, the actor promised that fans will be "blown away" by what's in store.
"Knowing that this was the conclusion of not only our time there but the nine stories, these nine episodes of the Skywalker Saga, it's incredible," he teased.
Star Wars: Episode IX will be released in the UK on December 19, 2019 and in the US on December 20, 2019.
Triple Frontier will hit Netflix on March 15.
